We typically provide Same-day and Next-day service at no extra charge, and our system is conveniently designed so that no one needs to be home at delivery time. For urgent situations, there is our Jump-The-Line™ upgrade that puts your delivery on the next truck out - typically arriving within 10-90 minutes. That's a very expensive add-on option, and only intended for last minute party “emergencies” when groups run out of firewood mid-event.

We don't use cord measurements here because of the confusion caused from smaller local providers presenting them incorrectly. As the region's main supplier, we found that our two size options meet most people's needs beautifully, and we also offer our racks in those two sizes as well.

The firewood mix we deliver comes from trees cut down at least 24 months prior, and processed shortly before delivery. It has been naturally open-air dried in our outdoor facilities to a range of 11 to 17% internal moisture content - which is what our regular customers expect every time. Our firewood is meant for use both indoors and outdoors, and lots of people cook with it as well. It has not been baked in a kiln, and it is intended to be stored uncovered, outside.

As the region's main supplier, we create our firewood in a bulk process that consistently delivers the best experience for the greatest number of people. These balanced characteristics include a desirable amount of smoke, sound, sent, and burn time. Our pieces range from 14"-22" long, with an average stick length of 17.5" and no custom ordering options are offered.

None of our locations has an area that's open to the public, and only delivery options are offered. We do have Dumped Delivery available only on our 8' Stack (within Mecklenburg County & Union County) that reduces your cost by $125 if you prefer to stack the firewood yourself.
